I provide therapy either directly to adoptive families or through the Local Authority & the Adoption Support Fund.

 

My work with adoptive families has been a central focus of my practice, and through this extensive experience, I’ve gained a deep understanding of their unique strengths and challenges.

 

This may include Theraplay, Play Therapy, life story work, and therapeutic parenting sessions, depending on the needs of the child and family.

 

I have been working in the field of adoption since becoming a social worker in a Local Authority, over 20 years ago.  I care deeply about meeting the needs of adopted children and their families.
