Welcome to Sarah Stinton Therapy
I provide compassionate and effective therapy for children, young people, and adults, tailored to the unique needs of each individual and family. A safe, confidential, and supportive space is created for clients of all ages to explore challenges, build resilience, and thrive.

My therapeutic approach
Rooted in person-centred, trauma-informed, and integrative principles, my approach is flexible and responsive, adapting to the unique needs of each individual.
For therapy with children I always begin with a parent/carer session to discuss concerns regarding your child, as well as hopes you have for the therapy. In this meeting I explain the different approaches we could take, and we will agree together the best way forward to support your child.
This collaborative approach ensures therapy is tailored to your child's specific needs and your family situation. This may be starting some regular play therapy sessions, which may involve you taking part or not, or some further parent sessions to help you manage at home yourself.
For therapy with teens and adults we also begin with an initial meeting to discuss what you would like help to change. We will then decide what approach is going to be of most use together, whether it is guided meditation or therapeutic support, using creative tools or not.
Crucially I will always ensure I provide a non-judgemental, confidential and compassionate space to explore whatever you choose to bring.
